CARDS Welcome to Gemstar Cards. We are a greetings cards company dealing specifically for the gay and lesbian market. Currently our demographic is mostly for lesbians with some cards suitable for the entire gay market. Our aim is to provide good quality greetings cards for any occasion that are suitable for the gay/lesbian market. Gemstar was born when browsing the internet for a variety of lesbian greetings cards and found that the selection was remote to say the least. Most of the cards available were aimed toward gay men and so we thought that if we felt this way then so must other lesbians out there. Thats when we decided to design our own cards and create our own website purely to fill this apparant gap in the market. Our hope is to provide a range of cards that are appealing to our specific audience, and to give a wide variety of choice that will continue to grow as time moves forward. We are always inventing new cards and new ideas and are always interested in hearing your feedback. Please email us with any comments you may have. ART This is a new avenue for us in addition to our cards range. These are prints of original artwork painted by our founder, Gemma Dawes. Originally painted in acrylic on canvas they are sized down to A2 but other sizes are available at different prices to match your requirements. Originally painted as gifts these prints are of high quality and are printed on high quality glossy paper. Portaits are Gemma's speciality and each have been meticulously worked on and finished to a high standard. Commissions are being taken should you want an original piece of art, please email us if this is a service you require. GIFTS A range of gifts are being considered for the site and from time to time will be showcased in their specific section. These items are at a fixed price and their postage will be detailed within individual descriptions. |
